It’s a governor’s race in Virginia… who cares? For some reason: everyone.
Pundits around the country have begun to say that this one governors race is the key to future of the parties. One year ago today a Barack Obama took the state of Virginia, and was the first Democrat to do so since the 60’s. Pundits now think that if Virginia goes red again it shows people aren’t satisfied with Obama.
I guess that makes sense. If you use this same logic it makes sense:
Per her parents request my exgirlfriend used to date only Jewish guys, then she dated me, but after we broke up she dated Jewish guys again… I guess I didn’t turn her Christian. And this reflects purely on my religion, and not on my personality. Damn.
It makes sense in that same vein… a crazy vein.
Do your worst McDonnell.
Both of these candidates have had very very heavy hitters come on out to support there bid to be Governor. Among them:

- Lieberman (backed Joe Lieberman… like always)
The Candidates
Creigh Deeds and Bob McDonnell are the two white men running for governor of Virginia, and the race is HEATED! People have been following it for months and months and months and seem to think that this one almost always conservative state is a projection of the rest of the nation in the years to come.
I definitely have an opinion about that. But more importantly I can’t get over how similar they look! We haven’t seen people look this similar since the hotly contested contest of Roosevelt vs. Big Roosevelt (i.e. Taft) and the other guy way back when. Jesus, it’s like they’re arguing into a mirror in this picture.
